HAPPY NEW YEAR and a Birthday Celebration as well.

I would just like to take this opportunity to wish all my friends, family and online friends a very Happy New Year. May you all experience abundant blessings and a year filled with love, joy and peace.

We celebrated the New Year with friends at Home before leaving for holidays. It was a very low key night. We didn't arrive in time for the BarBQue tea as Chloe had to work until 8.30pm, but we went out after work. Lots of nibbling, lots of chatting, and the guys compared fishing notes. We did have glow sticks, sparklers, and some expired flares that we lit and let off to see the new year in. Just a hand ful of photos of our New Year Celebrations.
Then we got out the sparklers, glow sticks, and some old expired flares and this is what it all looked like.
The flares actually looked pretty spectactular - lots of orange smoke and bright lights.

A little sparkler fun,

We are now on the Sunshine Coast - the start of our holidays catching up with family and friends.
Today I want to honor my Mum and wish her a very Happy Birthday.
We caught up with my sister and her family for lunch and then Steve and I took my parents to the movies to see AVATAR -in 3D. The second time for us and the first for Mum and Dad.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE BEST MUM A GIRL COULD EVER WISH TO HAVE.
You have been a wonderful role model to us of what a Godly woman and Mother should be. You have always been there for us, encouraged us, been our best friend - you have shown kindness, and compassion, and patience and I just want you to know that you are loved dearly, It has been so good to have been able to spend this special day with you. May we get to have many more with you too.

Short post tonight. I'm tired -it has been a pretty long and full on few days, so looking forward to having an early night. Will be back in the next few days with more updates.
