Celebrating my Mother In Law's 80th Birthday today....
We partied on the weekend...
It was a great time for her and she enjoyed every minute of our getting together...
We had a little family dinner for her on Saturday, we took her and her three sisters out to Sizzlers for Lunch, and made a little fuss... Balloons, Roses and two cakes...
She was so excited, she could barely eat...
It is funny isn't it that your greatest joy is received when you do something special for someone else...
She is a remarkable woman...
Her life hasn't been easy...
But she is a lovely woman and very caring and kind...
Is must be someone special as she is the mother of my wonderful husband...

We had organized everything, but Mum had taken it upon herself to make and ice a Birthday Cake for herself. so we took it too the restaurant with us and she cut both

One of the things we did, was have a couple of roses for everyone to take home...

We bought Mum a big bunch of roses, and then we bought another bunch which we split up and I tied a couple of the roses together for each of the woman who turned up. Steve's Aunties just loved them.
