WRITTEN OFF.....

It has been a bit of an emotional week.....
A week when you think about the things and people that are most important to you....
On Saturday night, Steve had an accident...
I am so thankful and so grateful that he is OK, that he wasn't really hurt,  it could have been much worse...
With the car it was a different story...
The car will be written off....
This still has a touch of sadness associated with it, as it was Pete's car, his attachment to us still even though he is on the other side of the world...
It was his first car...
I remember this day well, the excitement of getting his first car... loved the number plate...
I enjoyed driving Pete's little car,  it kind of kept him close to my heart....

The towbar of the car he hit certainly did some damage....

 The chassis wasn't bent at all, but the engine and gear box were damaged so this poor little green ant is being written off...

I will miss this little car...
More than I thought....
I have loved driving her, seeing Pete's gear in it...
It makes him still feel close by....
I am sad to loose that feeling....
