A GREAT WAY TO SPEND A SUNDAY....

We had to be out of the van park by 10am... The girls didn't want to go straight home, so they suggested that we go for a skate at Yeppoon and have a lunch of fish and chips on the beach..

What an absolute perfect day...
And it was a great family day all together...
The whole weekend was just so relaxing and we really came home feeling extremely refreshed..
In fact Sarah wanted to know where we were heading off again for the following weekend...

Even Willow enjoyed some skateboarding and was quite a natural with her balance for someone who is so young...
Just had to share these couple of photos of Willow.

Just so happy to be on a board.....
She got so confident, that she was even game to let go of one hand and skate along with Chloe....
so confident....
Had to share these photos of Chloe and Willow skateboard...
Skating with her Aunty Chloe...
It was hard for the girls to skateboard because Willow wanted to get on the board each time they came past....
Skateboarding with Mummy
The day was perfect...
The beach was perfect
Beachfront at Yeppoon
We just couldn't keep her off the board....
Willow loves the board

Then it was time to give Willow another skate again.    She was very confident this time round and was happy to let go of both hands and just skate along side of Chloe holding her hand... We were amazed at her balance and her confidence...

Feeling confident on the board
Steve,  hasn't lost his touch.... He hasn't been on a board for a few years, but he obviously hasn't lost it... He was able to get straight on and take off...
The three of them skating along the boardwalk together
This guy is a legend.... well as far as his girls are concerned anyway.
Rip sticking and skateboard....
Even Penny got to hop on the board...
She wasn't too keen though and was a little aftraid of it when the board started moving...
Penny skateboarding with Willow looking on...
Chloe hopped back on the rip stick too... It has been a while since she has been on the ripstick as she has spent more time skateboarding lately
Ripsticking
And Sarah learnt to rip stick..
She has never done it before but it didn't take her long to catch on...
Sarah trying her hand at ripsticking...
We ended our time at Yeppon with a play in the playgroud for Willow and then a feed of fish and chips on the beach front.... The gulls weren't too interested in hanging around us this time. as we had the dog with us...
Lunch at the beach....
Loving these breaks away with the girls....
Looked forward to them for so long and now they are over....
Definately have to organise more in the days ahead....
