LAST DAY IN BRISIE.

We ended up staying an extra night as our youngest daughter wanted us to stay just one more night, so we still had a little bit of shopping we wanted to do..  I wanted to pick up another pair of shoes that I could only get in Brissie, and I had some vitamins that I wanted to pick up also. (They are not sold in Rocky so I would have had to order them on line).  The store that stocks then in Brissie is just 10 minutes from Chloe..

As we were leaving Chloe's place I noticed this hibiscus growing near our car...

Such a contrast to the ones we had seen on Norfolk Island
Sarah  decided to join us for our trip to the Shoe shop in Indooroopilly and after I had scored my new pair of shoes we decided to  drop into the big Indooroopilly Shopping Cetre and have a  good look around there also.   She left us just after lunch as her children had a "Pirate & Mermaid" pool party to go to.

Steve and I also dropped into Carindale Shopping Centre on our way home and we spied these awesome flowers...  Just stunning arrangements with a stunning price too but I figured at least if I took photos of them I could still appreciate their beauty.

Before heading home, we ducked into the supermarket to get a few things that Chloe needed at home and also a few snacks for our trip home tomorrow....  Steve was keen to get each of a girls a bunch of flowers also and we were in luck as they had quite a few bunches that were perfectly good but marked down.  We walked out with two lovely bunches and headed back to Dan and Chloes as they were due home from work anytime.

Flowers that Chloe scored my her dad
For our last night in town, we decided to take Dan and Chloe out for dinner...  The restaurant they really wanted to take us too was closed so we ended up finding this rather nice sort of boutique  Italian restaurant where they made everything from scratch, including all their pasta.  In fact we were actually watching the chef make fettuccine whilst we were there.   I did manage to get a couple of photos of the pizza we ordered but missed the opportunity of taking a photo of us all there enjoying our last it of time together...
It is sad to think our holidays have come to an end...
They have gone extremely fast.
Back to work on Monday..
