Oh how life has changed since the Covid 19 Coronavirus..
Who would have thought that churches would have been closed and that the only way we could all meet together by social distancing would be though technology..
It is a month now since churches have been cancelled and we have seen each other in person... Well for us personally, it is six weeks, as we were away with Dad for the three weeks before that.
Whilst I am making the most of this time of staying at home, and looking for the positive benefits of this isolation, I do miss interacting personally with friends...
I know that this time too will eventually pass and so I am trying to embrace life and enjoy some of the things that previously I haven't had time to do...
This morning we had our church service through "Facetime Live"......

| Who goes to church like this. |
We don't have pews like this at church.. Who gets to sit in a seat like this at church. It would be awesome if we had seats and could recline like this when we did go to church in person..
 |
| Jordan took the service this morning |
 |
| Our morning message.... |
 |
| Listening to the morning message |
Steve was following along using his digital bible...
 |
| following along with the reading for this morning.. |
We had to have our bread and wine ready before we met together online, so that we could actually all have communion together also.
Very different to how we would normally do it, but these are different times which requires different measures..
After Jordan had finished his message, we had communion and ended that part of our service, we had a Zoom link up with everyone so that we could all have a bit of a chat together.
Our social distancing laws are still going to be in place for at least another one, so we will be all fronting up again this time next week for another online service....
 |
| Catching up with everyone at church for a cuppa afterwards.. |
 |
| Our way of catching up and socializing these days.... |
One thing about it... life will never quite go back to what it was before all of this..
I have come across these quotes in the last week or so, and thought how applicable they are to me personally at this time in history...
Any finally...
