HOMESCHOOLING...

Never in our lifetime have we seen school being cancelled and parents having to teach their kids at home...
Well technically, parents supervising their children learn at home because the schools are providing all the work...
This coronavirus has turned the world upside down....

Sarah was a little nervous about how she would go with the whole homeschooling thing with the children, but they have been working so well together at home...

In fact Max is keen to do his school work whilst Willow does her work, so Sarah has decided to make the most of his willingness to want to learn also....

She thought she might even send him back to Day Care earlier, but he has been happy to do school work with Willow, and Sarah has been able to do some Uni study as well.

 but still needs that coffee to get her through the day..

 This is not normal homeschooling though... Some how we must not mistake what our children are doing now with real homeschooling, as those I know that homeschool, are out and about,  they are learning from lots of hands on,  out in nature, visiting art galleries, getting together with other homesechooling families....
None of these things are happening with our students who are not able to go to school... They are purely working from home on work set by the schools...

The events of the last six weeks, will be history in the making... Never in our lifetime have we seen whole economies shut down... schools cancelled, people social distancing, people all working from home....  Never have we seen the size of this affect the whole world.. every country in lockdown...
Never have we seen a virus spread so quickly... hospitals overrun with the sick, and so many people dying... Hopefully we will never see it in our lifetime again..
