This week the Circle of Friends ladies met at the Ski Gardens for morning tea..
I had invited a couple of my friends to join me...
Normally they play mahjong on a Wednesday morning but since Covid, they haven't been playing so this morning they joined me..
Although quiet cold today, it was a lovely day to be outdoors...

Plenty for morning tea... |

My orange cake... |
We usually all bring something for morning tea and share it...
Last night I thought I would make this Orange cake...
I found the recipe online...
It was an easy cake to make and contained a whole orange which you quarted and then the ingredients were all thown into the Thermomix and all blitzed for a few minutes...
I was a little nervous about taking it as I hadn't made it before but it was received well and most of the cake went pretty quickly..
It was lovely and moist and I will make it again.....

He didn't manage to catch anything but he had fun... |
One of the ladies bought her grandson so that he could have a fish in the river whilst we had morning tea. Life has been a little tough for him lately, and he was so happy to be with us... He even enjoyed having morning tea with us bunch of older women. He is quite a nice kid....

We were all ready to leave just after 11.30am.
