GIRLS NIGHT OUT.....
It is not often that I get to have a night out with my two girls....
Saturday night, we all went to the movies together to see "Made in Italy". What a great movie and what a great night we all had.
We went to the Balmoral Theatre in Bulimba.
The theatre here is lovely, very old, but the decor is still quite grand...
It is also a reasonably cheap place to go too. All up it cost us $33 for the three of us, and this also included two snacks, (Large packet of Peanut M & Ms, and some snicker pods) plus two bottles of water and some hot chips (as we were all a little hungry)

There were still COVID restrictions in place. The row in front of us and the row behind us were empty and we needed to leave, 3 seats between each party.
Once time ever too that I have been in a theatre where they had a power blackout and we lost the movie...
The cinema though was good, and rewound it back to where we lost power so that we didn't miss out on any of the story..
Great movie.... we really enjoyed it.. |

The three of us |
As none of us had had dinner before the movie, we decided to find a little restaurant in Bulimba to have dinner together...
In the end we decided to have Vietnamese and found a little restaurant that looked pretty busy... Always a good size that the food is good and it was...
Our choice of restaurant for our dinner |
Although we were reasonably hungry, we decided just to order two meals and share them between the three of us. Chloe ordered the garlic prawns and Sarah and I decided on the Chillijam Chicken..
The Chillijam Chicken was amazing... |
The garlic prawns were delicious... |
We really did have a great night out together....

At least a decent photo |
We did have a great night out together... Always so much fun with these girls... Love how we all get on so well together....
Sarah got some new boots that she wore, and had to show them off for us....
Chloe and I left to head home when we got a call from her husband Dan to say he was ready to come home so we offered to go pick him up from the Valley. We had to drive over Story Bridge to pick him up. It was so pretty with all the buildings in the city all lit up and reflecting in the river... So glad that we got to take this drive... a bit like fairyland....
We all enjoyed a cuppa together before Dan and Chloe retired for the night. I read a little of my book before finally calling it quits...
