I WAS MISSED...

Homeward bound...

With my COVID cases around in Qld I decided to wear my mask home on the plane..

When I arrived home, we weren't just  able to come off the plane and head into the terminal at the airport....

It was almost like flying in from overseas where you have to go through customs.... sw were escorted off the plane and sent into a special room, where there were several police.  We all lined up and had to have our driver's licence checked, answer questions about where we had been in the previous week before we were allowed into the terminal to collect our luggage.  There were at least 4 police doing these checks..

Once I had collecte my luggage I then had to go and find a taxi to get home as Steve was actually in class teaching when I arrived so I know that he was not going to be able to pick me up from the airport...

We don't really live that far from the airport so I was surprised that it cost me almost $17 for the taxi fare home...  Just goes to show how often I catch a taxi...

I was obviously missed because my wonderful husband arrived home with a lovely bunch of flowers for me.. So blessed and just a tad spoilt....

It was nice to know that I was missed, and it was so so nice to be back home in my own space with my lovely husband....
