CIRCLE OF FRIENDS BREAKUP FOR 2020....

The day continues to get busier, as I leave the Allies Staff Christmas breakfast to head to the Ladies Circle of Friends Breakup for the year...

One of the highlights of my retirement year has been meeting with these beautiful woman each Wednesday for outings and friendships.  I have missed them this term as we have spent most of the time away but I did manage to get back to Rocky for their last two outings for the year...

Today they had their breakup at CCC.  All we were asked to do was wear Christmas headgear and bring a plate to share for morning tea...

We then put in $5 and were supplied with Subway lunch and a beautiful plum pudding desert..

We spent the morning playing games and having a good time catching up with each other...

Our morning started with us all enjoying morning tea together.... Covid safe of course.....

Our dear friend Margaret was celebrating her 70th Birthday on the coming weekend, so we had an early celebration with her here...
Once morning tea was over it was time to play a few games.  We all enjoyed a game of indoor bowls..

We played this with three woman bowling at a time until everyone who wanted to play at a turn.  For some they had never played this before and it was a lot of fun watching them trying to get the spin right..

After we had all played bowls, it was time for another game,  this time we threw a large dice and if we three a six we got a Ferrero Roche chocolate...

By the time we finished this game, we needed to remove chairs and set up tables for dinner... It was decided that whilst we were all up moving that we should get a Christmas group photo so we positioned everyone then to get some photos of us all.

Once we had the tables set up, Marg went to pick up our lunch.  Whilst she was gone, Dianne had a Christmas Origami Craft for us to do...  She had special craft paper and a set of instructions for us all to follow...

Once we had all finished making out little origami Christmas Trees, Dianne needed us away from the tables so that she could set them up for our luncheon.  Whilst she did this she had the rest of us do a Christmas puzzle to test our Christmas knowledge...

My now Marg was back with our Subway for lunch...  Di had included lovely little trinket tins for us full of Christmas lollies, and with Covid and us not being able to have bowls of nuts on the table, she bought us each our own little packet of nuts...

It was a great morning, well morning and afternoon.  It was close to 2pm before we were all packed up and ready to leave.  I needed to get home as I had visitors arriving in a couple of hours to get ready at my place for dinner tonight...

Jannett and her sister Christine were coming for a visit.  It has been a couple of years since I have seen Christine so I was looking forward to it...

All the ex Allies girls are going out for dinner tonight and she was going to join us...  It has been a really busy day today...
