MEETING MIA...

Dan and Chloe traveled up to Rocky on the same day that we did, although we left earlier in the morning...

For a belated Christmas present, Dan and Chloe are getting a puppy, but as she is still to young to collect yet, they had to be content in just going and meeting her before Christmas...

To say Chloe was super excited would be an understatement...  This is going to be one spoilt puppy..

All the family got to meet her over the course of several days..

We were the first to go out with Dan and Chloe on Christmas Eve..

Although it wasn't Chloe's ideal puppy.  She wanted a honey coloured puppy but in the end, cost wise, it was better to go with this little black angel...  We have all fallen in love with her...

These photos are of Chloe meeting her little puppy Mia for the first time.  Her breeder has been sending weekly update photos but she was so excited to get there and actually cuddle her...

In fact both Steve and I got to go with her when she first met Mia and of course we fell in love with her also...

Such a little sweetie....
Even though Dan has always wanted a German Shepherd, he has obviously fallen head over heels in love with this little puppy also..

They didn't just get to play with little Mia, but also her siblings, both brothers called Winston and Albie.  I don't know how the breeder is going to part with them, they are so darn cute...

Even Maggie, the mum was quite taken with Dan and Chloe and she was very good about letting them play with her puppies...

There will be a lot more visits whilst they are home.  I think Chloe will be going out most afternoons to feed Mia and play with her in the hope that she will remember her for when she comes to live with them.

She has delivered a collar, a few toys and a blanket out to stay with Mia now until she is ready to come home to her...  She wanted her puppy to have something familiar so that she doesn't pine too much when separated from her Mummy...

Only two weeks to go now until she is ready to collect....
