HAPPY NEW YEAR
Just want to wish you all a very Happy New Year. I pray that 2007 is full of health, happiness, lots of fond memories and blessing for you all.
We celebrated New Years Eve
with about 30 friends from church at a Bar-B-Que at the Cribbs. Had a great time - very relaxing mainly just sat around and chatted - played a few games and then went home after we saw in the new year.
Also managed to do a photo shoot of Pete on Sunday afternoon (in spite of his bitter complaining - he hates getting his photo taken) and being the
scrapbooker that I am, I like to have photos of my kids to scrapbook. Needless to say, I did get a few good shots of him especially with his dad and I. Think I took about 200 photos though to get a dozen good shots.
We left Rocky yesterday and drove to Bundy and had New Year's Day lunch with Steve's parents - Lovely chicken roast dinner (Steve's favourite - and no one cooks a roast chicken dinner like his mum). We both had a little nap as we were pretty tired from our really late night the night before and finally arrived on the Sunshine Coast around 8.15pm last night. So the first day of our new year was spent in the car travelling.
This morning we had to take Pete to Landsborough early to catch the train into Brissie so that he could go to work - what should happen to be around the corner from the train station but a scrapbooking shop. Just had to visit it didn't I - I was so tempted but I did manage to restain myself as I really want to use up a lot of my stash at home first. Still I enjoyed the looking.
Also want to share with you a LO my friend Ali Russell did of Chloe when we scrap
booked together last Friday night. She is such a talented scrapbooker. I love all her work - but the thing that amazes me the most is how quickly she can put a page together. Awesome - there is no other word for it. Ali, Chloe got a real buzz out of seeing it in your Gallery and loves your LO of her and her friend.
