One more Sleep - so excited

I am so excited - only one more sleep and I get to meet my online buddy Gayle Smith from WA. She is flying in and meeting my friend Lesley and I at Brissie Airport tomorrow evening and we are spending Friday together.

Two more sleeps and I get to meet, Ali, Natalie and Ingeborg for SA, Beverley from NZ, Gennie and Megan from Melbourne, Tracey and Marion from Sydney, Ro, Gail and Haylee from Nowra, as well as catch up again with Sal, Nat, Suse, Leanne, Amanda, Sarah and the other local girls from Brissie and the GC. I have been waiting for this weekend for over 12 months when Sal first starting planning the first Scrap of Faith Retreat - Also looking forward to meeting the other girls coming whom I don't know quite so well yet but I am sure that after the weekend I won't be able to say that any longer.
I am also really excited about getting to see all the CJ's that the SofF girls have done over the last 12 months - normally they would be returned to the owners without you ever seeing them all - well everyone of the CJ's that we have been doing will be at the retreat so i will get to see all the beautiful work from all these gorgeous girls. I finished Gennie's this week - and have a couple of more that I will finish on the weekend.

Got a lovely surprise yesterday afternoon when the office girl at work rang to tell me I had won some money on the Melbourne Cup sweeps that they had at school. I am not a betting person but will sometimes join in at work for Melbourne Cup so when the kids came round on Monday and wanted staff to put in for the sweeps I gave them a few dollars - how know idea what horses were in the race, didn't even see what horses were drawn for me and for the first time in years I even missed the race (I still can't tell you which horse ran) but mine won and I ended up getting $33.

I missed the race this year becuase a surply teacher had a class in the library watching the movie Phar Lap - and I was busy sorting out the bookclub - didn't even realize it was race time. Have never won before either.

We have some gorgeous flowers out in our garden at the moment so had a bit of fun with my camera this afternoon - I think I will take my good camera away with me - a little nervous about doing this as I am still not confident to get brilliant shots with it but with so many of the girls coming with good cameras - I am hoping to pick up a few tips and survive the photo opportunities. thought I would leave you with a few photos from my garden.
Just thought I would close with these couple of quotes.

Do all the good you can,
By all the means you can,
In all the ways you can,I
n all the places you can,
At all the times you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as ever you can

See you next week when I am sure to have heaps and heaps of photos from our weekend.
