SCRAPBOOKING BREAKUP FOR THE YEAR.

Ah drat,  I am so far behind with my posts.  It is a week and a half now since we had our final scrapbooking day for 2012.  I have been slack this year... I haven't done much at all, but that is because there is so much going on in our lives.

I didn't scrapbook on our last day together either as I had to leave early to catch a flight to fly to Brisbane to meet my new grand daughter.  I did manage to take a few photos of our last day together for the year.

Secret Santa Time

Each year we end the day with a full day of scrapbooking... 9am to 9pm.  We normally have a special lunch together, have a few games we play through the day and just have a great time socializing.
This year I took my computer as I wanted to edit some photos, update my blog and then I helped my friend Jannett make wedding invitations for her daughter's wedding next year.

Some of the girls.

They all got into the spirt and wore Christmas hats.

A huge mess was made as usual.
This year we had some newbies come on our last day.  I knew I reckoned the face of one lady, but I couldn't place where I knew her from.  Maybe it had something to do with the fact that she was now grey.  Anyway after talking for a while it dawned on us both that she was one of Sarah's teachers when Sarah was in Year 2.    We had a lovely old catch up, and she was happy to learn that Sarah had just become a mum.  Of course I had to share the only baby photos that I had.

Well that is scrapbooking over for another year.  Hopefully next year I might actually get to do some..
