I am a bout three weekends late with my postings....
Most days we look for opportunities to take Willow out to the park...
The other afternoon we headed down to the Botanical Gardens to take her for a play....
She loved it and so did we...
It was like going back to our childhood ourselves.
We have done this a few times now and she just loves it....
I am so pleased that Sarah and Colin live so close to a beautiful park back home, I am sure they will have hours of fun taking this gorgeous girl down there for a play each week.
Willow has grown so much since she has been with us. When we first started taking her to the gardens about three months ago, she was a little unsure of all the swings and slides. Now she just loves them, and doesn't want to go home.

troducing her to the Monkey Bars,, |
|
Mummy showed her how to do it. |
She loved swinging across on it......
Next we hit the slippery slide.... one of her favourites....
|
She was keen to try this on her own.. |
She could happily slide on this all day....
I miss these days with out kids.... so nice to be able to enjoy seeing the wonder and excitement on this precious little face...
|
Poppy enjoyinig it every bit as much as Willow. |
She also LOVES the swings.
We still have one in our back yard and she has been having a ride on it every afternoon when they go down to collect the chook eggs. So when we go to the park, she knows exactly what they are for and is happy to sit and let you push her for as long as you like....

Even I enjoyed hopping on the swing with her this time...
|
Enjoying time at the park. |
Sarah also spent some time showing h\er how to operate some of the big machinery. She didn't manage it too well, but she loved seeing the sand being tipped out.

Learning how to operate heavy machinery. |
This time with our daughter and grand daughter has been so precious to us. A Huge Thank You to our son-in-law for giving us the pleasure of looking after his treasured girls.... You have given us a wonderful gift...and we can't thank you enough. We know you adore them and have missed them terribly, but you have blessed us beyond your wildest dreams.
