A FOOTPATH REPAIR

It looks like the council is finally going to do something about our guttering...
It has been like this for many years now.....

Broken guttering outside of our place...

Only I think the fact that the Troupie was parked out side here kind of disguised it a little.
This week this was placed outside of our place....

No more standing...

 I think they might have already been done except that a big van was parked outside of our place for almost three days.... No one knew who owned it....
The council knocked on doors in our neighborhood and couldn't find an owner....
So the sign went out and suddenly the van disappeared.
But so did the council and they have still not been back....
So we still have this....

Almost dangerous now...

I am so glad they are going to fix it, although I think if they really want to do a good job of it, they will need to remove the big stringy bark gums which are growing on our footpath...

Evidence of the Troupy still remains...

You can still see the big oil slick of where the Troupy was parked for many years....
Wonder how long it will take for that to disappear...
