THEY GOT THEIR WHITE CHRISTMAS

Pete was really hoping for a white Christmas....
He rang us Christmas morning to wish us a Happy Christmas...
It was Christmas Eve in Denmark... most of their celebrations take place Christmas Eve including the church service, the big family Christmas dinner,  dancing and singing around the Christmas tree, and of course opening the presents...

It has just started to snow when Pete and Maria rang us...
They took us outside to show us the snow... how magical for them both...
Meanwhile we were melting in the hot summer sun back here...

He also sent us some photos of the snow, when he got back home...
He did tell me how much I would love it and how magical it all was...
So want to experience a Christmas in Denmark one day....

So happy that Pete is having this experience..
