TINKERING IN THE SHED....

He has been tinkering in the shed making new brackets to hold some decent seats for us to sit on when we go fishing....
He loves using his hands and playing around with wood or metals.
There is an inner part of him that loves to  design and create.....

Drilling holes in his brackets
exact measurements...
Marking where to make the bends...
In his element...
It never ceases to amaze me how men can find stuff in their sheds when it is everywhere like this...
Needed to get some right angle bends..
Making the bends...
Drilling out the holes...
Getting a template....
Looking pretty good.... think this is going to work....
Even I was able to give him a second set of hands...
In fact I enjoyed sitting out in the shed with him, watching him work...
It was a nice way to spend an evening together...
Getting in on the act...
Time to measure up the seat to work out where to make the bends..
Measuring up...
Practice run first...
attached to the seat..
Yes it fits perfectly..
Now it was time to make the second one...
Making sure the holes match..
More bending..
Making sure the measurements are correct..
He was certainly in his element...

I thought my husband was a hoarder,  he is nothing in comparison to some others....
These stacks of newspapers amused me.  I think there is every paper here since 2008, all stacked so neatly...
Just amused me at how neatly they were stacked...
and how each had a piece of cardboard between them with the appropriate year date...
All the news of years gone by....
I was also pretty amused at all the old rego stickers plastered on the shed wall...
all the old rego stickers...
He was pretty happy with his final product....
More photos to come down the track...
