OUR EUROPEAN HOLIDAY - DAY 18 - CHILL OUT DAY TODAY...

No photos today.....
Totally chilled out day.  I could barely move today, it definitely needs to be a quiet day in today to recover.  Maria gave us the phone number and address of a chiropractor that wasn't too far from where they lived.  Steve's back was pretty sore also so we rang and made an appointment for us both to go see him at 3.30pm.

Mostly we caught up with washing, cleaning, photos, and my diary notes as it has been a pretty full on week.  Maria gave us directions, and we programed it into our app so we really had no problems getting there..

The visit to the chiropractor was good,  my back was really bad and I needed a second visit.... Steve's was adjusted pretty easily, but I must admit, I still felt 1000% better after I walked out...

The fun really began once we walked out of his surgery and had to find our way home again...
For some reason, Steve's phone locked up and we lost internet.  The internet was crucial for us finding our way home and using our bus tickets which were saved on the phone...

We were in a bit of a pickle, as the moment we turned the phone off, we were unable to get back into it again as we did not have our pin number for using the internet....  How does one find their way home without their bus tickets and not having a clue on where to go to catch the bus and where to hop off the bus... We had totally relied on our app to get us there.....

After the panic subsided,  we found a teller machine, and had to draw out a small amount of money to try and buy more bus tickets home,  and we came on a number 8 bus so we figured that if we caught a number 8 bus it should take us somewhere in the vicinity of home.  We couldn't even ring Pete or Maria to ask them for help.....

We caught the bus but then had no idea of where to get off, and ended up missing our stop and by the time we had gone past the University we knew we had gone too far.  Off the bus we hopped,  still no idea where we were.  Fortunately we spied a young person walking towards us and most young Danes are able to speak English, so we stopped him and Steve tried to see if he had Pete's address in his notes to ask him how we could get home from where we were.  Once again we had no money on us to catch the bus, but this young person assured us that if we caught the next bus which was due to come in 6 minutes our old ticket would still hold, as it lasted for half an hour....  We needed to go back two stops.  We finally arrived home around dinner time, not too much the worse for wear but totally relieved to be back in familiar surroundings.

What an adventure.... next time we venture out it will be with either Pete or Maria.
We had a quiet night at home where we planned our adventure for the next day with Maria.  Pete was back at work...  As much as we missed everyone,  it was nice just to spend some quality time with Pete and Maria and feel a little more chilled.  Love spending time with these guys.
