CATCH UP ON SOME OF THE BIRTHDAYS.....

I am still trying to catch up on some posts from last year, especially the children's birthdays.  Love to keep a record of them, and so do the kids,  they love looking back at the photos of their special days....

Both Steve and I flew down for Willow's birthday last year.... I don't think I have missed one of her birthdays yet, and I know we will both miss it this year so it was nice to actually be able to come.  She had a small party with just a couple of close friends families and their children, but they held it at Inflatable World at Wynnum and the kids had a blast.

She was so excited this year,  she had been counting down the sleeps and been pouring through toy catalogues for weeks looking for that perfect birthday present....  I loved sharing her excitement.   She was so excited,  that the week before her birthday she said to me that she didn't know what she wanted anymore because she had seen so many wonderful things in the catalogues.  And as her birthday isn't that long before Christmas,  the catalogue had lots of wonderful things to tempt her.... She poured through the birthday cake books and had picked several cakes that she wanted as a birthday cake and in the end settled for a poodle cake.  Sarah did an excellent job with it too.

Some of the photos from her birthday....

The excitement of opening all her presents.... Lego... she loves her lego.
Her Mum had worked very hard to restore her own dolls house from when she was a little girl... She spent weeks re painting and doing it up for Willow and she just loved it.....

Playing with her new dolls house...
We supplied the furniture for the doll's house.....
Then it was time for her party....
She was only have a small party with a couple of Sarah's girlfriends and there children, and our friends and their grand children..  We were all off to Inflatable World at Wynnum... Willow was really excited....

So much fun...  I am amazed at how brave she is...

It didn't phase her to jump from the tops of the castle walls, she tried everything there and went back for more.....
Even Max had fun...

 Then it was party time...
Time to blow out the candles and cut her amazing birthday cake...
Amazing cake made by her Mummy

Her birthday guests....
Kissing her daddy... he was the nearest boy...
It was a wonderful party... They all had a great time and none of them wanted to go home...
Willow's friend Audrey came home with us and the girls had a wonderful afternoon together playing in Willow's doll's house.

I am so glad that Steve and I made the effort to head to Brissie for the weekend to help celebrate with her...
