A NIGHTLY VISIT TO SEE THE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS.....

Just four doors down from my dad's house was a lovely house all decked up with Christmas lights for Christmas...
It became a nightly walk for us to take Willow and Max down to visit the house and enjoy the lights, Santa, the reindeers and the spirit of Christmas...

These evening adventures worked a treat.... I had no trouble getting her to take her bath and eat her dinner, because the reward was a walk down the road to see the special Christmas lights...

 They had a super big Santa too that was filled with air and stood taller than the house...

 Perhaps one of Willow's favourites was the snow machine....
She loved it and would run under it and let it blow all the bubbles all over her...

 She was keen to show Max all the different displays....

 Max loved this little lantern that had snow falling it it... He was quite mesmerized by it...

 The owner of the home was wonderful....
They have been doing this for 14 years and all children get a helium balloon when they visit...

 We did this everynight we stayed on the coast...
Seeing Christmas Lights through the eyes of a child is quite different to seeing it as an adult...
I love going to see the Christmas lights...
Hoping that we can make it a real tradition with our grandchildren...
