THE EASTER BUNNY VISITS....

Loving the age the children are at now...
Willow was so excited about the Easter Bunny coming to visit and was counting down the sleeps.
She is at the perfect age that you can actively get her involved in getting ready for Easter...

There was a very excited little girl on Sunday morning when she woke up and found that there were chocolates left for her.  Even more excited when she saw the bunny prints and all the Easter decorations outside the annex.  She came into the caravan and dragged both Steve and I out of bed to come look at it all.  She was in awe and as she spread her arms wide out, she said to us,  "Quick Moppy and Poppy, come look, the Easter Bunny has been and everything is AMAZING"  Oh to be a four year old again.....
Their stash.....
He has even nibbled on the carrots.

Lovely bunny from Uncle Dan'sparents
Even found eggs on the breakfast table
See the bunny prints Moppy and Poppy, he has been in the caravan...
Poppy cooking Sunday morning breakfast for us all..
we had to come out and follow the signs and see all the eggs the bunny had left for them..

Easter decorations even adorned our common area...

Even Max knew that Easter meant chocolate and he was very happy to go looking for eggs around our campsite....

Chocolate for breakfast.... only on an Easter Sunday
In the afternoon we did a bit of a Easter Egg hunt with the littles around our campsite....
We hit a couple of packets of little eggs and they all went hunting for  them.  It was lots of fun for Willow and Elia, but we had to help Max and Rita find some eggs.  Still a great time was had by all, children and adults alike....
Looking for Easter Eggs
Willow scored a hand full and they go straight into her bag...

Elia was eating his as fast as he could find them...
Max was more interested in eating them as he found them, rather than looking for more...
Max with his bag of eggs.  such a huge bag for a few eggs..

Ah the memories of holidays like this.  I feel so blessed that we can have special times like this with Sarah and the children.   It was a great day and the kids had a ball.  Just as well we did our own little egg hunt.  The caravan park did one earlier in the day.  It was to start at 8am and Sarah and the children got over there a couple of minutes after 8am and it was all over, so I know that our kids would have been very disappointed if we had not had a little egg hunt for them.
