THE WEDDING CEREMONY..

Because of the floods in Rocky in early April,  the setting that Dan and Chloe had picked for the ceremony had to be changed as they had initially planned on getting married on the banks of the river and then holding their reception upstairs at the Rowing Club....  The lawns had sat under water for over a week, so the grounds were pretty much destroyed.  We were a little sad as the setting there with the river as a back drop was just beautiful....

Plan B was to take the ceremony to our beautiful Botanical Gardens, and it was just perfect.... The gardens were immaculate and ever so green from all the rain the month before.....

Willow had fun throwing her rose petals on the happy couple as they said their vows...

The Kiss
He may kiss his bride....

I need to document Willow's response when James asked who gives this woman to be married to this man.  Steve and I both said "We do" and then out loud Willow pipes up and says "I do too".  It was so cute..... and definitely bought a smile and giggle to us all....

As a surprise for Daniel.  Chloe actually wrote a song for him, which Daina her bridesmaid put music too and sung for them at the ceremony...
The words were beautiful but also contained a little humor which bought a big smile to Dan's face...
Bride and Groom listening to Daina as she sees Dan's song....

Love these photos of Chloe and Dan.....

A huge thank you to Andy for taking all these wonderful photos for me.  I so appreciate the fact that I didn't have to worry about taking any photos and that I just got to enjoy the moment, and yet still ended up with amazing snapshots of a wonderful day...

Another lovely photo of our beautiful daughter and gorgeous grandson..
We held a small afternoon tea in the gardens for those who attended the ceremony.  Once again a huge thankful to our friend Marg Bangay for organising this for us and also a huge thank you to all the girls at church who helped by cooking and making wonderful goodies to be shared over the afternoon.  We truly are blessed...
