TRIP TO THE SUNNY COAST...
It has been quite a while since we have seen my Dad, so thought a visit to the Sunshine Coast to do a little work in the shed for him and also catch up and spend a little time with him...
I think the girls would have preferred us to head to Brissie, but we really needed to sort through a lot of the gear in the shed and help Dad get rid of a heap of it...
We got to catch up with my youngest sister who came down and spent a day with us trying to sort out what was valuable enough to keep, and what just needed to go straight to the Dump...
Dad was very good about it all. He realizes that we can't keep it all and whilst he initially sat out in the shed with us when we first started the tidy up, he had to go back inside because there were too many memories attached to some of the gear we were getting rid of...
After spending just on a week with him on the coast, we decided to head to Brissie for a couple of days to catch up with our daughter and grandchildren.
We had great plans to do stuff with them but in the end both Steve and I got quite sick and we were very limited in what sort of activities we could do with themm
I had hurt my back and even found walking quite difficult. After three days of complete bed rest, I finally managed to get up and I ended up taking the children to Rainbow City so that they could burn up the excess of energy they had.
They love to spend time with their Poppy and were very happy to sit up on his knee to watch a movie all together,,,,
Love spending time with these little cherubs.... Just wished we all lived in the same town...
