IAN AND KATHY COME FOR A VISIT

Ian and Kathy are off on another big trip down through the Centre of Australia with their eldest daughter and her family.  They then plan to continue their trip and check out more of South Australia, when Mel, Justin and the children fly home to Brissie from Adelaide...

They are taking their van, so decided to retrack our steps from our lap in 2017.  Part of that meant that they got to come and spend a few days with us on the way...

We had a really great time together...  Planning new holidays for next year together....
Checking out the local attractions and showing them all the amazing things that have been happening in Rocky since they were last here...

We did spend a day down on the Capricorn Coast, checking out Emu Park and the completion of the work around the Singing Ship....

 It's a bit of a pity that the weather wasn't a bit kinder.  We had intermittent showers and it was quite cool.

From Emu Park, we did a scenic drive along the coast checking out a few of the lookouts along the way...

We ended up at Yeppoon at the Lagoon for lunch, and a very nice lunch it was too...

We ended up going out to Hog's Breath for dinner and then ended the evening by taking Ian and Kathy down to the River Bank to see all the new additions there, enjoying a nice evening stroll to check it all out...

There loved that this whole area is now all lit up...

 We really did have a lovely time with these guys, and have many great adventures to look forward to with them in 2020 as we have planned a couple of great trips with them again..
