LEGO WORLD COMES TO COPENHAGEN

Young Theo experienced his first real taste of massive amounts of lego and building blocks when Peter and Maria along with Maria's brother Rune and sister in law Heidi and their children visited Lego World when it visited Copenhagen on  13-15 February.

Lego World is a creative wonderland for any Lego-loving kids and families.  I am sure that the biggest kids were Pete and Rune who have always loved building with Lego.  I think the idea is to introduce it to their kids whilst they are young, so that it gives them an excuse to be  able to play with it themselves.

Anyway, Lego world was a unique chance for them to surround themselves with more colourful plastic bricks than you could possibly count.

Despite the fact that Lego is a Danish brand, this annual Lego festival was actually born in the Netherlands back in 2001, but since 2009 it has been a huge attraction in Denmark too as it coincides with the Danish schools' winter holidays.

He had a little practice playing with his Duplo at home before they took off to Lego World

Just the cutest little boy around..
Time to have a nap on the train so that I am bright cheery and happy when we get to Lego World...

Wow  a cubby.... I can hibernate in here...

Then there was the red corner where all the building bricks were red...
There were some pretty amazing creations there also.  Some of them were huge...
all made out of lego...
Some amazing creations...
Even the counters were made out of Lego
Service counters were also made out of Lego
These amazing little people were also lego inspired...
All in all it was a great day out, and the big kids enjoyed it as much as the little kids...
Time to get rugged up to go outdoors again.  He looks so darn cute all dressed up in his winter suit....
It was fascinating to watch Theo at play.  He will play with his Dad for hours with a little pencil sharpener trying to out it on his head....  So darn cute.....
This little sharpener will amuse him for hours....
Got to love this little treasure...
We love him to bits and are so thankful to technology
So thankful that we can see him when we chat to him at least two or three times weekly.
