Pete and Maria have been wanting to sound proof their upstairs from their downstairs in their apartment in Copenhagen... Maria being a midwife, does a not of shift work so often needs to sleep during the day.
They also didn't want to completely close off their upstairs and out a solid wall in and make their apartment a lot darker and smaller, so they came up with the idea of having and internal glass wall, where they were able to open the area right up still and utilize all their upstairs space but at times when they wanted some peace and quite downstairs they could pull a wall across and sound proof the area...

I think they have done it well... Still pretty spacious without loosing any of the natural light, and the downstairs part of their apartment can be soundproofed so that Maria can sleep during the day...
