AN INTRODUCION TO FRANGELICO AFFOGATO DESERT....

 This week we had a dinner date with one of my RLO work colleagues.  They had a meal with us a couple of weeks ago and returned the invitation for us to join them at their place for dinner this week...

It has been so nice to catch up with them, and we had a really lovely evening... Janet cooked us a lovely lasagna and we had a lovely tossed salad with it.  

The highlight of the evening was an introduction to Frangelico Affogato.  A desert we had not heard of before.  Such a simple desert but so tasty...

Such a simple desert,  a bowl of ice-cream and then you pour over a shot of instant coffee and a shot glass of Frangelico, and a Almond Biscotti Biscuit can be added to it to give it that extra crunch.

I took a photo of the bottle so that I knew what to go and look forward when I go shopping...

I had a google search and took a copy of the recipe so that I can make it in the future...

Just need to add a couple of these biscuits to the plate and then it is all ready to go.....

Hopefully we are going to keep in touch.  We've even toyed with the idea or organising a bit of a reunion so that we can catch up with a few more of the RLO's...

It was a lovely night out and a good chance for Steve and I to have a nice evening out together also..

Our time on the coast is fast coming to an end... So much still to do, so many people to catch up with and very little time left....
