OUR CHURCH GETS TOGETHER FOR A FELLOWSHIP LUNCH...

 Once a month our church has always had a fellowship lunch after church where we can all stay and have lunch together.  Normally we would do this at church itself...

Since COVID that has all stopped, so it was nice to resurrect it again this year...  Instead of having a great together after church we have taken to meeting together for lunch at different landmarks around town, whether that be parks, the beach, or scenic venues..

This month we all took our picnic lunch up to Mt Archer which is the mountain that overlooks Rockhampton and offers panoramic views over the city and offers lovely bush walks among the tree tops.

There has been quite a bit of work done up on top of Mt Archer with new amenities block since we were last up here along with a kiosk building...

It was a lovely winter day up on the Mount and we had a lovely time catching up with our church family.  It seems quite a while since we have seen some of them as we have been away quite a bit this year...

Next month we are off to the beach....
