HE WOULD HAVE BEEN 90...

We should have been celebrating my Dad's 90th Birthday.  We were in the planning stages a good year and a bit earlier.  He was doing so well, his health was good and his mind was still pretty sharp.  He was on very little medication and was quite active and alert, living alone and still driving...

And within the space of a week, from having his license renewed and getting a clean bill of health, he was gone...  It was hard to believe and hard to accept..

So Dad you may not still be with us, but today I celebrate you again.  I celebrate that this should have been your 90th Birthday.  It was to be the big one and we would have partied...

We love you dad and are so proud of you and so thankful that we were blessed to be your children..

So today I look back at the last big milestone Birthday that we celebrated with you..

Blessed to call him my Dad...
You may not be with us, but we celebrate the wonderful Dad that you are.  May you be rejoicing in your eternal home above.  May you and Mum be reunited once again.  We love you and miss you...
