DAY 2 AT KINKA BEACH..

 A totally relaxing day today...  

We didn't do much at all as the weather wasn't the best today, and the owners at the park have warned us to be prepared for violent storms this afternoon.  Thankfully we aren't parked under any large trees.  

Today the Avaners arrived in droves... and we were an island set up amongst Avaners...  

Barb and I headed down to the supermarket this morning to stock up on a few groceries but other than that it was a home day today.  We didn't even manage to get in the pool as the weather didn't allow. 

The Avaners have arrived...

We are a little island in amongst the Avaners...

Fortunately for us they are a lovely bunch of folk, and very friendly and we have enjoyed the many chats we have had with these folks also..

We did get a message from a very good friend of ours today to let us know that good friends of theirs are up camping with the AVaners and are camped on Site 23.  We were asked to make ourselves known to them.  Obviously our good friend Steve had also told them about us, as later in the afternoon they arrived up at our van to introduce themselves.  They are lovely folk and we look forward to catching up more with them during the week.
