CASTAWAY IN A MANAGER - A C.O.P. MUSICAL

It was great to be able to attend another COP Christmas musical.  We missed it last year, they were unable to put on a performance due to COVID so it was great to see it back again this year.   I think Pastor Claude Fingleton said that this was the 18th production they had done...

This production is always of the highest standard and the talent is unbelievable.

I particularly enjoyed the production this year.  It has a very strong Christmas message about the story of the birth of Jesus and that
then lead into the Gospel story

Their dancers were amazing, very gifted and talented young women, and their costuming was colour and fun and you could tell that these young women were totally enjoying themselves.  One of the very talented young dancers was the daughter of one of the girls I used to work with.

The singing Christmas Tree

The church is also blessed with an abundance of very gifted singers as well and this is reflected in not only the choir in the Christmas Tree but also all of the wonderful soloists and grows that performed throughout the evening,  It was so good to see so many men involved in the production as well...

These two girls were superb...

Again, Top credit goes to COP for putting on such a magnificent performance for the public of Rockhampton.  This is done as a gift to the community, but it also tells the story of Christmas and how the baby Jesus came into this world as a Saviour for mankind...
It's the greatest gift to mankind...
