Busy Busy Busy
Crazy busy week again this week. We've had Bookfair at school and it was a HUGE success. Kept us run off our feet all week though, but it was great to see kids getting excited over books again. It has been a while since our school has held a Bookfair so the kids were eager and keen to spend their hard earned cash ( or their parents hard earned cash)
Our scrap retreat is next weekend, so have been busy finalizing details for the weekend and putting together some goodness for the weekend. Check these out - a little treat for the pillow.
All packed ready to go
The finished product.
Managed to get another couple of layouts done at our scrap weekend last weekend.
This one was inspired and lifted from this great ladies work - love her style - happy with the way it turned out. Wish the weather was better - hard to get a good photo at the moment.
Now I need to do some planning where my scrapbooking for the retreat next weekend. Need to have photos printed and work out what I want to do so that I can pack. A whole weekend with the girls - so looking forward to it. What a contrast to last year.
Thought I would share these with you too.

and finally
People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centred:
Forgive them anyway:
If you are kind, people may accuse you of being selfish, and having ulterior motives:
Be kind anyway:
If you are successful, you will win some false friends, and some true enemies:
Succeed anyway:
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you:
Be Honest anyway:
What you spend years building, someone may try to destroy overnight:
Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous:
Be Happy anyway:
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow:
Be Good anway:
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you have anyway.
In the final analysis,
It's between you and God:
It was never between you and them anyway,
What am I thankful for this week - So much.

Those retreat packages look amazing ... I'm sure the ladies will feel very pampered when they receive those.
Hi Karen - House Rules was a great read - have you read any other books by Jodi Picoult? Also Monica McInerney is good - try Those Faraday Girls. John Grogan's books Marley and Me and The Longest Trip Home are also good - have fun reading!
