A very Crafty Week.
I have been busy creating this week. I can' say that I have done much scrapbooking, but I made this cute stationary set as a gift for my secret sister.
I loved the way they turned out - even had to make the envelopes for them as I couldn't buy any the right size. Anyway after making these I decided to made a few more packs to have on hand as gifts.
and this last one I still need to make envelopes for
On Saturday night, I had a girls night with my friend Jan ( both our husbands were out) and we decided to have a card making night. Jan wanted to make Mother's Day cards, and I made some more stationary sets. We had a very late night with Jan going home at 12.45am. Unheard of for both of us. I made 24 cards, and she made about 20, so we were very productive.
Here are the sets I made. Each set has six cards.
I was really happy with the way they turned out. The best part about them is that they are really simple and very quick to put together and they can be used as notes or you could put a happy birthday sticker on the front or a thank you and they could also be used as special cards.
Then I had the fun of wrapping them all up as gifts.
I have managed to do a couple of layouts, although i need to add some journalling to the "Keith Urban" layout. My printer has run out of ink, so will have to wait until I can get a new cartridge to finish it though. We have a scrapbooking afternoon this Saturday so hopefully I might manage another couple of layouts. Need to get ready then for our scrapbooking retreat at the end of May.

Love your crafting efforts Karen. You must have been having fun to stay up that late making cards ... it's been a while since I did that! The card sets look fantastic wrapped up in cellophane and curls. :)
Karen!! They are absolutely STUNNING!!! Looks like you're really enjoying that huge scalloped edge flower thingy!
Love those card sets Karen! How did you do the scallops? Is it some sort of diecutting machine?
I love all the cards and gift sets you made, the black white and red ones are striking.
Fantastic pages too. Love the Keith Urban page.
