A long overdue post
I'm finally getting around to uploading some of the layouts that I did on our scrapbooking retreat. I'm having real internet and email issues at the moment, so am limited in the amount of time I can get online. It probably won't get fixed until next month either as Steve is flat out with exams, reports and planning a new course at the moment, so will probably have to wait until he is on holidays which won't be until July. Such a pain.....
Here is the sum of all my hard work at the retreat.
and I still have heaps of photos still to scrapbook and not enough time to do it.
and I managed to do these couple of single layouts as well. I still have two half done ones sitting on my scrapbooking desk. Hopefully I will get to finish them at our next scrap day in the next couple of weeks.
After more than thirty years of faithful service, our poor old letterbox dropped its bundle and pretty much died last week. Steve found an old letterbox he made when he was as school and is going to resurrect it and it will now become our new letterbox. (He has a shed full of old treasures - most of us would call it junk, but every now and then it serves it purpose and we find some useful for it)
Went for a walk around my yard on the weekend and couldn't help but snap photos of these.
Such an awesome display of God's creativity.
I've also been enjoy the magic of candles these last couple of weeks. I shouted myself these lovely candle holders and have enjoyed having meals in candlelight lately with the sweet fragrance of roses lingering through the house. So nice......
We have a busy few days ahead....Tomorrow we have a public holiday here for the local show. I plan on spending most of the day card making with some of the girls from church, Then two more sleeps until the long weekend ( our last for the year). My good friend Jenni is flying up from Brissie to spend the week with us. So looking forward to seeing her and spending time together.
Finally, found this photo this week and thought how nice it all looked - wouldn't mind doing something like this in our spare room one day. Must be nearly time for a change again.
Love the colour combination
Want to finish off with some things I am grateful for this week:
1. sitting in front of a fire on a cold winter's night.
2. time out with girlfriends.

5. Psalm 138:3
6. Flowers

8. My kids gracious hearts towards me.
9. Public Holidays
10. Words of encouragement.
