Another weekend done and dusted
The weeks just seem to be flying by..... Not too long now until our holiday.... So little time before we go and still so much to do.... Having a few car issues here at the moment. We have three cars at home at the moment , as of this evening only one is working. Steve's died on Friday afternoon, and Chloe's died this afternoon. It is going to be a mad rush in the morning trying to get everyone to work. Hope they don't cost too much to get fixed. All we seem to have done lately is pay car bills.
Sarah and I have both got new glasses. When I was in Brissie, I helped her find some frames and she gave me the seal of approval for the frames I ended up gettting. Also when I was in Brissie, I was treated to a home cooked meal by Pete. He has us all over for Sunday lunch. We had a lovely afternoon just chatting around the table over pasta lunch. Then we all snuggled under doona's ( to keep warm) and watch "How I meet your Mother" series. It was a lovely afternoon and very relaxing. We had our monthly scrapbooking day yesterday. I must admit it has been a crazy week and I wasn't really looking forward to going as I had no idea what I would do. Decided just to make a few more cards..... I'm so enjoying this card making at the moment. Meanwhile the photos are piling up, but I somehow think that not much will get done in the way of scrapbooking this year. Think the documenting is more likely to happen on this blog rather than our photo albums.
I have to say I really enjoyed making these cards, and the photos don't really do them justice. I have the small floral basic grey paper in my stash for quite a while now.... Have loved the way these cards have turned out and I wish I had bought some more of this paper now.
