A DAY OUT FISHING WITH POPPY.

Sarah was keen to spend a day out fishing with her day... We knew that it would be too long for Willow to spend all morning out in the boat, so we arranged that I would take her down to help collect the crab pots about an hour or so before they were due to come back in.

Steve and Sarah had an awsome morning out fishing and caught the biggest.  They are both claiming ownership of it..
Sarah actually hooked it on her line.  Not a heavy line as they were just out whiting fishing...
She handed her line for her dad so that he could haul it in as it was HUGE....
The look on Steve's face says it all.....

As Happy as a little piggy in Mud with this catch
Sarah was also claiming ownership as she hooked it.....
She is pretty excited with the catch also....
They didn't seem to catch much else, other than half a dozen or so whiting...
When I took Willow down to the boat they all wanted to know if I had bought the camera..
Of course they wanted photos....

She had great difficulty lifiting it as it was over 87cm long, and also 10kgs in weight.  Willow did not like Sarah picking it up at all. She got most upset whilst Sarah was holding it.
Here she is all dressed in her life jacket to go out fishing with Steve and her Mummy.

Off they go....
Whilst the fishing wasn't the best, it was a great week for the mud crabs.  I think that Steve ended up bringing in about 29 crabs over a four to five day period.  We are still eating them.
