A PLANNING DAY...

In four months time we are off to Canada with our good friends Ian and Kathy Forward...
We have a few holidays booked with them this year....
We will be on a tour for the first two and a half weeks but we have extended our stay and are hiring a car and doing some of our own sight seeing so wanted to get together with them and work out exactly what we were going to be doing....

We spent the morning with our devices, researching and coming up with a plan of what we wanted to do and where we wanted to go with a couple of options....

 We had to decide whether we wanted to go back to Canada and do some more sightseeing around there or do some exploring in USA.  In the end we decided to head back to Canada and spend a bit more time on Vancouver Island and head up to Whistler.

 We were keen for the travel agent to get back to us before we got together with some of the details of our holiday but he didn't so some of it we had to wing.. but we did come up with a couple of options which we were happy  with...

Took us most of the day to plan our time in Canada but once we had done the research and we were happy we were ready to take a break... With this nutted out we could now start to plan booking our accommodation and then hiring a car....

But for today we had had enough....
We decided it might be nice to finish the day by going out for dinner and Ian and Kathy took us to a lovelyThai restaurant called Thai Daisy at Daisy Hill in Brissie..

Beautiful food and very well priced with main meals starting at around $15...

 It was a lovely day and we felt like we had achieved quite a bit...
only a couple more sleeps until we head off on our first holiday for the year all together..
