It looks like our crew in Brissie had a wonderful Easter Sunday.
The kids woke early very excited to see the Easter Bunny had been and had even left his footprints all through the house.... They had written letters to him the night before and had even put a carrot and cup of milk out for him. Max in particular was keen to see if he had eaten his carrot...

The children were pretty happy to find that they had quite a stash of chocolate sitting in their nests they made...

The Easter Bunny had even bought some treats for Penny too.. Not sure she even liked them but she the kids were pretty excited to see some goodies for Penny too... She really is a member of the family
It is the only day in the year that the children are allowed to eat chocolate before breakfast. Max was right into it.. Willow likes to keep her's for the long haul, and last year she finally finished her eggs off by September...

| Yummmmm.... Chocolate before Breakfast... |
Mum and Dad cooked up a storm for Willow and Max for breakfast. Pancakes for Sunday morning is pretty much the norm for them but this Sunday it was a special treat as Sarah made Bunny pancakes for the children...

Their Aunty Brenda was coming to have lunch with them.. The children were keen for her to come because they had to wait for her to arrive before they could have their Easter Egg hunt...
It was a real family day for them, as they devised a couple of family games to play just before lunch. Using Maxie's nerf gun, they all took turns at shooting eggs off toilet rolls... The kids thought this was great and they did really well with it.... Not sure if they got to keep the eggs they shot or not but the video's they sent showed them having a wonderful time...
They had a special luncheon with Sarah cooking a pork roast with lots of crackling...
Brenda arrived just before lunch, so their Easter Egg hunt was put off until later in the afternoon.

Once lunch was over, and the adults had cleaned up, the kids were super keen to do the Easter Egg Hunt around their front yard...
They had to wait for Sarah and Colin to hide the chocolate... They needed to be hid just before the kids went looking otherwise they

 |
| So good... |
After they had finished their egg hunt it was time for some more family fun and they were all involved in playing with the Sega. Lots of friendly competition as they ganged up and versed each other. Lots of fun, but also lots of memories for Colin and Brenda as this is some of the things they used to do as kids...
They ended their day by a walk up through the bush behind Underwood Park.. They took the chalk with them again and left some messages for others who would trend this same path.
What a great day they had all had... These are the sort of days that memories are made of..
The kids were pretty had it by tea time, so it didn't take much of an effort to pack them off to bed tonight. It might not have been the Easter they had planned but it sure was a good one, and hats off to both Colin and Sarah for making it special for them despite the turmoil that the world is in presently...
