A VISIT TO A SUNFLOWER FARM....
On Wednesday, our day started as usual during this coronavirus isolation....
School at home....
First we tackled Willow's maths as this is the work that she struggles the most with...
more to do with her mental attitude towards it rather than the difficulty
After she had finished her work, we had a quick bite to eat and then headed off to do a few errands...
We needed to get them done and be home by 3.30pm so that when Steve arrived home we could head out to Alton Downs and check out the Sunflower Farm.
This farm is owned by relatives of a very good friend of mine, and over the weekend, they opened their farm up to the general public and were selling sunflowers at $2 a stem with all proceeds going to Cancer Research..
I'm not sure if it was the timing, or the fact that they did this over the long weekend when travel restrictions were lifted slightly. We are now able to go driving, within a 50km radius from home. After weeks of being couped up inside, we were all finally able to get out....
Well the bonus of the Sunflower Farm being opened was they raised over $25,000 to go towards Cancer Research, this far exceeded their wildest imagination..
Have a huge photo share... Such a happy place to go and visit. Nothing like fields and fields of sunflowers... Nothing like adding a bit of sunshine to our lives.....
This post is going to be an absolute overload of photos... Lots of stunning photos of the sunflowers....

| Amazing sunset..... |
In a world that seems a little confusing to the kids, it was nice to get out of the house and see them enjoying the flowers and actually wanting us to take photos of them with the flowers...

This is something that really pleased Steve to watch so many come and go...
She is quite a good little photographer, and already she has an eye for photographic elements and if the photos aren't to her liking, they get deleted...

| Love these photos of Willow |
This sunflower really cheered us up and made our day....
Some creative person had made a this sunflower into a happy face....
I think yellow is one of my favourite colours and to see fields and fields of these has certainly cheered me up and put a spark into my step..

I wonder if this will happen more often or whether it was just a one off to celebrate the end of total isolation. Whatever it was, I have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to see all these beautiful flowers..
