OUR GRANDCHILDREN MEET FOR A PLAYDATE..

My very dear friend Barb has grandchildren similar in age to us....
It just so happens that the last time we were on the Sunshine Coast with our grandchildren, Barb's grandchildren happened to be up on the coast also so we organized a play date for the children..

The children got on like a house on fire.....
In fact you would have thought that they had known each other all their lives....
There was lots of giggling and lots of laughter and Barb and I are going to organise more play dates for them in the near future...

 They only got to spend a little over an hour and a half together before Barb and the children had to leave as they were having guests for lunch... but the kids really did have  a lovely time together...
They played first and then stopped for morning tea...

 Whilst the kids ate and giggled, we adults had morning tea and caught up also and Barb and I had our yearly photo together taken also...

 Hopefully the kids might catch up for play dates in Brissie also... Their mums have exchanged phone numbers...
Our children were good friends growing up...
Nice to see that our grandchildren can also be friends.....
