STILL CLEANING OUT DAD'S HOME

With the COVID restrictions, it has been extremely hard to clean out Dad's house and get his affairs in order.....
Initially we were unable to travel to the coast....
In fact, Dad had been gone for a good six weeks before we were even able to get back to the coast to start packing up his stuff and clearing out the house...
We have had two visits back now and with the help of our son in law Dan on our last visit, we got quite a lot done....

It is looking a lot less cluttered now....
We still have two rooms to empty out and then hopefully in the holidays we will be able to move in and start the painting...

It is starting to look good though...

 Without the wall units this room looks so much more spacious now...
We also took out a wall unit that was near the table in the dining room area which has also opened up that area as well....

 This week we have been busy shopping for new doonas, bedspreads etc... A little more work and it should be good refreshed and ready to holiday in again....
This house though will always be Mum and Dad's house...
It is not quite the same going there these days, as the lose of Mum and Dad is so great when we go there and they are not there....
