TIME FOR THE MORNING WALKS TO START AGAIN..

It has been a good three weeks since I have been out walking early in the morning....
Whilst we were away on the coast, I didn't to get out and go walking...
We were so busy getting the house painted and carpeted that we didn't have much time at all to do anything other than work whilst we were there....

Then last week, the weather wasn't at all kind to us, so it was time to put the old walking shoes on and hit the pavement again....

I started by having a wander around our garden..
After the rain last week, it was good to check out the new plants we have just planted in the last couple of weeks....

It was so good to see so many of my new plants flowering....

My petunia are a brilliant red
The red petunia's are now flowering, and they look sensational.  The other coloured ones haven't flowered yet but the plants have more than triple in size....
All flowering  Viola's
I'm just thrilled with the way the viola's have been flowering... So so pretty
My daisies are really starting to bud, so I can only image how spectacular they will look in a few weeks time.

My matchstick plant is flowering profusely..

And my lavender is now also throwing out new buds.  I can't wait until the fragrance from tis plant fills our home..

Once I had  a good look at our garden, I headed down the road for my walk around the Bethany neighborhood....

The day was beautiful, lovely clear skies, plenty of sunshine, and a nice cool breeze,  not too hot and not too cold, and it almost felt like Spring... New growth and flowers blooming everywhere...

The weather has been perfect today...
Too good to remain indoors.  I decided to take a few of my rocks and spread a bit more joy dropping them in the neighbourood..
One of the rocks dropped on my walk around the neighborhood...
A magnificent display of colour... so thankful for the gift of sight...
Such a beautiful blue sky with lines of lovely clouds.  The richness of the colours of the earth makes me incredibly grateful today for all our creator has created for us to enjoy...
The colours of the heavens...
Another little rock hidden on my walk..

Such a huge variety of colours, shapes, sizes, smells.... how blessed we are to dwell in such a  marvellous universe...

I had a few errands to run after my walk and then I dropped in to see my good friend Marg as she had a couple of plants for me.  She has a ginger plant which has a beautiful bee hive flower that I was keen to getting a cutting off...

Her garden is also a blaze of colour at the moment..
Just seeing her garden inspired me to head to Bunnings to pick up a few more seedlings to plant in my front garden (much to Steve's dismay, as he is the one that has to knee down and plant them)
I came home with some stripped petunias, more violas, some pansies and some white border flowers...

Thankfully Steve came home from work early, so I was able to get them planted.  Can't wait for them to grow and flower now..
