JUST BEING CAUTIOUS...

I'm off to Brisbane to visit the grandchildren.

My flight was booked before things went things went pearshape in Qld with a coue of teenage girls sneaking back over our border with the Corona virus which sent shockwaves through the south east corner of our state wondering if we would go though the same community transmission that Victoria has been going under.

I felt a little nervous about flying south then, but thankfully, the Qld Govt was on top of the contact tracing and so with two weeks under our belt since the girls come home, we haven't had any additional cases..

The plane was pretty full of FIFO workers so I decided to take the necessary precautions since I am now in the vulnerable age bracket and wear a face mask..

The first I have worn.  I did take one of my own, but the Virgin supplied one for each of their passengers, so ended up using theirs..

I was surprised at the number of folk who didn't bother... I thought more would considering the confined spaces we were in.

Pretty good to now be able to fly without using a lap extension belt... This has been one of my goals and the first time I have been able to fly domestically without one...

Mind you with Covid no one has been doing any flying anyway so it is a good eight or nine months since I have flown to Brissie..

The kids were very excited to see me, and the first thing Max wanted me to do was go shopping with him to buy a penguin.  He had obviously been eyeing it off when shopping with his Mum and she wasn't going to get it for him, so who better to hit up than Moppy....

I had wanted to get a couple of nice photos of the children to send to Pete and Maria....

No nice smiles for me.... just crazy photos...

 Love these chickens..
