JUST A FEW PHOTOS OF OUR WONDERFUL GRANDSON ON THE OTHERSIDE OF THE WORLD....

I am feeling so sad that we are not going to be able to visit our family on the other side of the world this year...  we were supposed to be going over in the next couple of months but our flights were cancelled last week so even though we were pretty sure we wouldn't get there, it is now definite that the trip is off.  Theo was only 7 months old when we last saw him, and he will be two next month...

We were also supposed to be there for the birth of their second child and we were going to be able to help with looking after Theodore.  Just feeling a little gutted that we will miss this wonderful event...

Still I am SO SO THANKFUL for technology and that we can Facetime and chat to our beautiful family several times a week.  Theo at least knows us.  He recognizes us on the phone and chats to us so hopefully when we do manage to get over there again, we will be very familiar to him...

I took these photos above on one of our many facetime chats...   It is the best time to chat to Theodore when he has food and is sitting in his high chair...  We have his undivided attention...

He is not as interested in chatting to us when he is on the ground running around and playing with his toys...

It is even harder when things like Covid are around as you just cannot make plans for when you will see each other and catch up again...

Missing our beautiful family more than anything at the moment....
