DATE AFTERNOON TO WATCH THE SUN SET...

 I raced home from the Capricorn Coast because Steve and I had a 4pm appointment together... By the time we left this appointment and were on our way home, we could see that the sun wasn't far off setting so decided that we would head down to the Botanical Gardens which over look Yeppon Lagoon to watch the sun set...

It was a beautiful sun set too.  This is one of my most favourite things to do... It was one of the things that I missed most when we got back from our Around Australia trip a couple of years ago...

Today's sunset was stunning....

The bird life was pretty prolific down at the Lagoon this afternoon and as the sun set, the sunlit sky provided a lovely background for the silhouetted birds in the foreground...

 

 

Just a lovely afternoon down by the Lagoon.. Blessed to live in this amazing country...  Blessed to have eyes that not only see, but see the most amazing colours.... Blessed to have ears that can hear...  Blessed blessed, blessed...
