SEWING FOR SARAH...

I was on a bit of a mission before Christmas to make a heap of Christmas presents for Sarah to give her friends...

Earlier this year, I had made some peg aprons for myself and a couple of friends to use when we travel in our caravan.  I thought that my girls would both enjoy getting one also as neither of them had a laundry trolley at that stage so I made one each for them also.  My daughter in law than wanted me to make one for her also, and a couple of my other friends wanted one...

Well Sarah loves her so much she wanted to give a few away as Christmas presents so had me making them for a couple of her friends including her in-laws....

I felt a little under pressure to get them made as I was running out of time.  Mind you she had asked me back at the beginning of September, but with us being away travelling, I hadn't got around to actually making them...

I had 10 to make in the end...

It was a little like mass production and took me a good couple of days to get them all finished but they were done in time...

I also gave a few away as gifts to a couple of my friends also and included a packet of great pegs that I have discovered.  They were gladly received...

I am hoping that those that Sarah gave away as gifts were loved as well...

Now to make a few more in the new year to put in my gift box.   They seem to be quite popular with all I have given them too...
