SLEEP OVER AND CHRISTMAS BAKING..

 Whilst we were in Brisbane and staying at Chloe's we had the children over for a sleepover...  Chloe and I decided that we would do some Christmas baking with them and make some Christmas cookies..

Chloe and I baked the cookies after they went to bed so that they would be ready to ice the following day...

Max loves to bake so we knew that he would enjoy this little activity with us...

All ready for Christmas.. Chloe has the tree up, the biscuits made,  we made heaps of icing, coloured it all, added sprinkles, and tubes of writing gel and then we were all into it....

Well Chloe and I had biscuits to ice also...

Max was really into it and slashing colour on all his biscuits.  Willow found it a little harder because she is more of a perfectionist and her biscuits weren't turning out as she was seeing in her head...

It was kind of a lot of fun doing it together... We made heaps and the kids were keen to take them home... We all had to taste one first though...

It was a fun afternoon and good practice for the kids for when they do their gingerbread houses in the next couple of weeks...

One of the highlights for Max at the end of the day was coming out onto Chloe's deck and seeing these birds on their TV antenna.  

Love spending time with these chickens..
