THEY ARE GETTING A PUPPY....

 Dan and Chloe have been dying to get a puppy for years..

They knew they needed to be in their own home first, so once they moved in back in September, they have been looking for Puppies since.  They originally got a quote of getting a pruebreed Cocker Spaniel and were quoted $3000 for one just after they bought their home.  By the time the puppies were born the price had gone up to $6000 a matter of three months later...  There was no way they were going to be spending that sort of money on a dog...

I worked with someone who also loved Cocker Spaniels and had bought off breeders in Brisbane so decided to contact her for the kids to see who she had got her cocker spaniels from.  It just so happened that when I rang her, she was breeding her first litter of pups and offered one to Chloe at a much more reasonable and affordable cost.

Now Chloe had her heart set on a golden female cocker spaniel, but in the end had to settle for a little black one, as my friend's dog who was pregnant was a black one and she had been mated with a black male.

Anyway two days before my birthday her dog Maggie gave birth to three little puppies, one female and two males.  She sent Chloe some photos and it was love at first sight...

Their beautiful little puppy Mia...

This was their Christmas present to each other this year.... It is a bit hard because he will not be old enough to leave it's mother until the middle of January when Steve and I will then take it down to Brissie to them...

Meanwhile though, whilst they are in Rocky on Holidays they are going out each afternoon to visit her and feed her...

It is making it a little harder for them as they really have become very very attached to her now..
